News March 2012 Jordan’s 3rd and final season in the BMCRC Superteens (Aprilia 125cc) race championship saw him finish in a highly creditable second position – beaten only by a much smaller and lighter opponent. Congratulations Jordan.
The 2012 season sees a change in both motorcycle and championship as he moves up to the Michelin Minitwins. This class uses modified Suzuki SV650 bikes with both adults and junior riders on the grid. Deadline are delighted to support both Jordan (#24) and brother Ben (#32) for the 2012 season where the Gilbert brothers will be running as a team. They have recently returned from a week’s testing at the Almeria circuit, setting up and getting used to the new machinery – posting some very competitive lap times in the Spanish sunshine. You can see them on Eurosport TV on May 13th when the Minitwins class features in the World Superbike meeting at Donnington Park.
February 2012 Following a routine inspection by HM Revenue and Customs we have been advised that we can no longer treat the London Congestion charge as a disbursement. This means that, as from 1st March, VAT will be charged at the 20% standard rate on the £9 charge for direct deliveries to central London, and the £1 charge for Overnight deliveries. This extra VAT can be reclaimed by customers in the normal way.
December 2011 Pan Georgiades, head of our accounts department since 2001, has retired after more than 10 years service. We would like to thank Pan for all his hard work and efficiency and wish him a long and happy retirement. September 2011 Staff from our accountants, Harwood Hutton, completed a 30 mile bike ride on behalf of the Alzheimers Society on the 15th of September. We were delighted to be able to assist by providing a support vehicle for refreshment / repair checkpoints along the route as well as transport for the return journey. Congratulations to all involved who raised more than £500 for this worthwhile charity.
March 2011 Please give a warm welcome to our latest recruits - Tom Rawlings and Chris Pryor -both being trained for future Operations duties. Tom and Chris are 21 years of age and embarking on their first "proper" job! They will spend time at each of our 4 offices over the coming months, learning all aspects of the business. Please be gentle with them!
January 2011 We are delighted to announce our return (in a very small way) to Deadlines involvement with motorcycle sport. Jordan Gilbert is a 14 year old from Uxbridge beginning his second season in the MRO Aprilia Superteen Championship. His first season in this highly competitive class saw Jordan take 7 rookie wins, 2 rookie of the day awards and a poll position and 2nd place in the main events. This spectacular start has been recognised with Jordans selection to compete in the European Junior Cup - a series run alongside World Superbike at the European events. Only the best young riders from the continent are invited to ride in this series. We wish Jordan every success in 2011.
April 2010 We are now able to send your monthly invoices and statements by email - saving time, postage and paper. August 2009 Deadline have, for many years, supported the annual "Walk for Crohns" event which takes place in Hyde Park. This year was no exception with some 300 walkers taking part and raising much needed funds. We are delighted to provide the transport for this very worthwhile and enjoyable event.

The R1 Cup is not being run this season due to the credit crunch and lack of corporate money available to motor sport generally. Kyle has decided not to race this season - as the only classes available involve huge financial commitment. We would like to thank Kyle for all the excitement he has provided over the past 5 seasons and wish him every success in the future.
February 2009
The campaign was run throughout January, with our sales team brought together to promote our services throughout the South Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire areas served by our Crowthorne office.
January 2009 We continue to support Greg for the 2009 Veterans World Championship, which, this year, includes a round in the USA. Greg came 4th in 2008, despite crashing badly mid season. Deadline are pleased to support Greg and wish him every success.
