Jordan’s 3rd and final season in the BMCRC Superteens (Aprilia 125cc) race championship saw him finish in a highly creditable second position – beaten only by a much smaller and lighter opponent. Congratulations Jordan.
The 2012 season sees a change in both motorcycle and championship as he moves up to the Michelin Minitwins. This class uses modified Suzuki SV650 bikes with both adults and junior riders on the grid.
Deadline are delighted to support both Jordan (#24) and brother Ben (#32) for the 2012 season where the Gilbert brothers will be running as a team. They have recently returned from a week’s testing at the Almeria circuit, setting up and getting used to the new machinery – posting some very competitive lap times in the Spanish sunshine.
You can see them on Eurosport TV on May 13th when the Minitwins class features in the World Superbike meeting at Donnington Park.
